Glazes can be single or multiple color glazes worked over a base color. Depending on the removal technique, and number of colors used including metallics, many different effects may be obtained. These may be simple or complex depending on the finish desired, and can be done in any color. This technique will also hide many defects in wall texture, making it a good finish for restoration projects.
The glaze removal technique determines the texture and finish of the completed wall. These can be as simple as ragging, or as complex as combing or a silk roll. We have many sample boards from previous jobs for your inspection, and a large sample will be done for your approval before a room is painted. These finishes also make a wonderful base for further interior additions such as custom stenciling or hand painted accents.
Venetian Plaster is finely ground marble suspended in a base which is layered upon your wall with a fine blade. The highest end finish we offer, it may be in any color, and left matte or polished with butchers wax to a high shine. When complete, this finish will have the cool feel of real marble.
